Chasing Inspiration

Inspiration is a very funny thing, it comes when you least expect it and connects random things to a singular thought! Snuggled up in bed in my p.j’s , I had no plans of waking up till 12pm. But suddenly I thought about the comfort of going and grabbing a strong filter coffee in one of the ubiquitous Udipi joints of Bangalore. It was 8 am on my watch and I hit the ground running! The early rays of the sun were basking on me, the roads were empty and I seemed to own the pavements, hell the city!

When the sun is scorching I wear a jacket , when it drizzles I wear a jacket, when its cold I wear a jacket , when I don’t need to wear a jacket- i wear a jacket!!! LOL. On this blistering cold day, who can stop me; you guessed right , from wearing a jacket??!!

I feel this is a perfect look that can be worn when stepping out for-

Brunch with Friends
A casual Lunch
A relaxed Dinner
A swanky Night out

As for me I had planned a long day – Filming this look, a cozy brunch with friends, and something that I had almost forgotten- the reason that I got out of bed – My Filter Coffee! So much for inspiration!

I pulled out my marsala skinny jeans , teamed it with my plain white buttoned down shirt and then came in my sexy dapper black leather jacket . What can i say about this jacket? It fits like a dream. I slung it over my shoulders – the draped cape style and was all set to chase pavements!

p.s : I made sure i didn’t leave without my lethal Red lipstick .. Muahh!!!
